When the kittens were smaller I was posting weekly updates. It's been at least a month since my last update, so it's time for another look at them. They're 12 weeks old now, although these photos were taken when they were about 10 and 1/2 weeks old.
That's Tiny Whitey (the kitten), not Super-Whitey (the mom). She likes to cuddle, but is also extremely energetic. I think that besides getting Mom's coloring, she also got her hunter's senses.
I have to admit that one of the reasons I haven't posted an update lately is that it's really difficult to get good photos of them now.
As you can see they're getting much bigger. Bigger means faster. Faster, with much more stamina.
When they were smaller they'd stick around when I let them outside, and even if they went running off a little way, they would eventually run out of gas and have to take a rest. Great for taking photos and collecting kittens when outside time was over.
Now they're not interested in resting, and their gas tanks are bigger than my patience tank. I'm lucky to get any photos at all that aren't blurred, or of only the back half of a kitten.
It's just too hard to get decent photos when they're in the garage, and letting them outside is such an ordeal, so I'm not getting very many photos of them lately. (It's actually not letting them outside that's the problem -- it's getting them back inside, as you can probably imagine.)
They're still extremely curious...
and easily startled...
and they may be losing much of their "kitten-ness" but they're just as cute as ever -- at least I think so!
I think I'll make another attempt to get photos in the garage sometime soon. I just have to show you the bottom of Tiny Toe's feet, and I'm certainly not eager to let them outside again -- who knows how long it will take to get them back inside the next time!
Glad to see the kittens are doing so well! Have they each found a home yet?

One has (90% sure). One has not.
