A couple of mornings ago I was awakened by hungry cats, and upon making my way to the kitchen I noticed a strong glow from the east: a particularly nice sunrise!
So I grabbed the camera and took a few shots.
This single frame doesn't really capture how glowing and beautiful the sky was, so here's a wider shot made from two frames stitched together:
That gives you a better idea, but for the full effect you need to see the whole sky, and for that you need a full panorama (click to view):
(This image was created by stitching 6 overlapping images together).
That was a pretty nice show for the morning, so I went back to feeding the cats. About 10 minutes later I glanced outside again, and saw a completely different but still impressive scene:
The sun was just barely peeking over the horizon, and the colors of the sky were completely different than they were earlier, yet beautiful!
It was a nice surprise -- two different sunrises on the same morning!
Stunning images, especially the panorama. You really are an excellent photographer!
ReplyDeleteThanks! This blog sure has given me more practice taking photos. Hopefully I'm improving all the time.
