Those last two were castor bean leaves -- the rest were Colocasia except for the really dark leaf which is an Alocasia.

Big leaves, big texture
After finding the spider mite infestation on my one black-stem taro (elephant ear) the other day, I decided to take a close look at every elephant ear. I didn't find any more mites, but I did find a lot of great big-leaved texture.
Here's a look at some of what I saw.

I enjoyed your leaf patterns. Were these taken against a light source?
ReplyDeleteMost are just taken from above the leaf outside. Some are taken from underneath the leaf. No extra light sources.
