Fuzzy!
It's that time of year when the Salvia leucantha starts blooming. I thought it was a bit late this year, but I checked my post from last year and this is the right time for it.
They're just getting going, so only a few photos today.
I couldn't wait to post these though, as the fuzziness always gets me.

It's one of my favorites too! I really look forward to the blooms. I wrote more about them at Mexican Sage is a Hummer Magnet.
ReplyDeleteAlan, ours is a full bloom. To me, there is no better harbinger of fall than Salvia leucantha. I love the fuzzy flowers, too.
