Necessity

I don't know about you, but I often need to think on my feet in the garden. Lack of an appropriate tool, a cost-cutting measure, difficult access -- these all will make a job much harder than it needs to be.

Sometimes the solution is less than pretty, and although it works you're surprised that it does.

You have a problem with my makeshift scaffolding?

It's obvious that some of the boards are not rotten, and although those pine logs are a bit askew symmetry isn't a strict requirement in modern engineering.

I'll post about this project tomorrow -- I have to climb back up there today.

I hope your weekend in the garden is less treacherous.

  3. Everything went fine, although I did step on the rotten pallet plants a few times. And by "step on" I mean "step through".
