I like to do a wrap-up of my favorite self-snapped photos of the past year in January. For some reason I forgot to do it last year, but I
did it in 2011.

Loved this trip back through the year...I actually think my favorite is the frost on the metal pipe...I find it so visually arresting.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely Mr Macro. So many stunning and memorable photos here. I remembered many of them!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these! I wonder if you'll be seeing any fish as early as February this year?
ReplyDeleteScott: I actually forgot that the curly frost was from 2013 -- I thought it was longer ago!
ReplyDeleteGerhard: Macro shots are my favorite.
Lisa: Who knows. It will be near 50ºF this weekend, so there should be some melting. Not sure how thick the ice is right now though.
Nice yearly shots. They are all good particularly the zoo shots and the bee in suspended animation. Enjoyed the visit and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI think if I had to pick just one, I'd vote for the Grand Teton landscape shot. Love the composition, and the water reflection! Happy New Year, Alan!
ReplyDeleteAll are wonderful shots but I like the frost and snow pics best.
ReplyDeleteLee: Thanks! The zoo photos were different subject matter for me, so I'm glad I got some good ones. Bees are one of my favorite, most-photographed subjects, but that morning was special.
ReplyDeleteClaire: I'd love to be back on that Grand Teton hike again, although probably not so much fun right now. :)
Kris: Why do the Californians always like the snow pics? ;) Thanks!
