Winter pond pretty
I probably should have removed more of the vegetation from the pond before winter arrived, but the frozen pond would have been so boring without it.

I didn't note it, but photo #4 shows one of the big goldfish under the ice.
Nice pictures. I thought at first they were paintings.
Your fish aren't afraid to get right up under that ice, are they? I noticed our goldfish are much more active in the cold. The big koi pretty much stay in their cave, but on a warm, sunny day the goldies will be out swimming around, checking things out.
Lisa: that was in a shallow portion with relatively clear ice, so I suspect fishie was just enjoying the slightly warmer water. :)
