Portland: Japanese Garden (part 2)

My look at the Portland Japanese Garden continues. Part 1 was yesterday, where I mixed wide shots with macro.

I love watching fish, and it's especially nice when they're not shy. It wouldn't be a Japanese garden without fish!

Back to the shady, mossy coolness...

The "Natural Garden" was by far my favorite part of this visit...

Finding a bench for a quiet moment of contemplation, the low arched fence of split bamboo caught my eye...

But there is so much to take in here, you can't help but let your gaze wander...

Such a peaceful garden, even when brimming with people. I'd love to come here when it's nearly empty and just sit for as long as I could...
