Morning, Cold!

Too cold this morning to do anything but take photos through the windows.

Luckily cold almost always means clear skies, so the sunlight helps make things interesting and beautiful. The rain that turned to ice and snow helped too of course.

I love the texture that a snow frosting reveals in the garden world!

Our new low temp for the year, looks like 6ºF (-14ºC). Can you believe that in 2 days it will be 65ºF (18ºC)? Crazy.

That copper pipe trellis outside the kitchen window is turning into one of my favorite photographic subjects this winter!

Very pretty but I bet you'd be relieved once that 18C has arrived :)

Mark/Gaz: Funny thing is, I won't even be here to enjoy the warm temps this weekend -- and it's not the first time this has happened in 2015!

Brrr! Just when we were thinking that winter was over and spring was on the way! Damned groundhog anyway! It is very pretty.

You took all of those photos from inside? You have very clean windows.

Alan, beautiful photos--I love the copper trellis and the temperature gauge.

And as Danger said, wow, clean windows!

The window condition is a photographic and post-processing illusion. They're as winter-dirty as anybody's windows are right now I think. :)
