Last cold day?

Cold this morning, around 10ºF (-12ºC). I've been taking photos through the window using my longest lens, which is quite old and not of the best quality.

Which means I had to get a bit artsy and do some post processing to hide some of the imperfections. Will this be the last time I'm restricted to inside-looking-out photos this year? The forecast calls for high temperatures of between 55ºF (13ºC) and 65ºF (18ºC) starting tomorrow and continuing for the next week -- or longer?

So this may be the last look at winter you get from me -- fingers crossed!

These were taken on two different days: one cloudy afternoon and one sunny morning.

Do you blame me for trying to "Spring" them up a bit with a little extra color?

When I do photo-only posts like this, I pay more attention to the way the images work together on the page than the individual photos themselves. The visual experience of scrolling down through them is more important to me...

  1. Not at all! That's great news if warmer weather arrives as predicted. And quite an abrupt change too but nice nevertheless.

  2. Enjoyed the springing up of your images. Your weather change will be welcome but such a huge swing in temperatures! Congratulations on spring finally making an appearance in your neck of the woods.
