Every January I like to select my favorite photos from those that I took and posted about during the previous year. So today here's my look back at 2015, and the photos that I like the best. Note that these are not necessarily my favorite posts -- I list those in March on my blog's anniversary date.

I always look forward to your "photos of the year." 2015 was very animal-heavy, I just realized. The owl is my favorite, probably because I love owls.
ReplyDeleteGerhard: Glad you look forward to them! I was thinking the same thing as I was putting it together -- I guess the animals (and insects) just did it for me in 2015. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all great! One of my garden goals for 2016 is more photos. I do regular "overview" photos - kind of my photographic garden journal - but I want to capture more of the detail. You inspire me!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI clearly recall 14 photos, mostly the critters. The fawn and the field near you Mother's house are my favorites. Interesting the field reminds me of deer beds.
I loved every one of these shots! Thanks for putting this together. It must have taken quite a bit of time to look through a years worth of images. Happy to say that I remembered all of the images this year!
ReplyDeleteGreat selection; love the insect photos! Happy New Year!! Hopefully this spring we can finally visit. Cheers to a happy, healthy and plant-filled 2016!!
ReplyDeleteso many pretty pictures! You do have a talent for making crawl-y bugs look amazing, but all these pictures are great.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a keen eye! I wouldn't have spotted all these creatures. The owl is a favorites, as it the castor bean leaf; even in it's fading stage it looks more amazing then many.
ReplyDeleteA excellent collection...I do remember several. I enjoy your take on the world and the beauty you find and capture with your lens. Check out this little video https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/briefbutspectacular?source=feed_text&story_id=10207427037088156&pnref=story Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteExcellent look back Alan. I can't imagine the time it takes to do a post like this - thank you for the eye-candy!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a pretty special year, such spectacular images in your album.
