Today's Vignette is brought to you by Anna at Flutter and Hum.
My Allium christophii, newly planted last autumn, are starting to bloom. Slowly, bashfully peeking out just a couple of "stars" at first, unsure what they'll find in their new home.
Even this tiny taste of what's to come has me excited and marveling at their beauty!
So much more coming from the alliums in my garden this year.

BTW, these are my favorite photos of the month so far. I'm so happy with them!

Wonderful pics! It's my first year growing alliums. I see a few small blooms forming but I think I'll need to wait another year for the bulbs to become more robust.
ReplyDeleteI would be happy with those photos too, Alan - they are gorgeous! And they perfectly reflect the title of your post - bashful. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures of this, one of my favorite alliums.
