This is my driveway behind the house, as seen from the bedroom window. It's the messiest part of the space because it's where plants are being repotted, things are waiting to be relocated, etc. Just a general working area.
There's something special about it though, don't you think?
Let's take a closer look...
Is it the same fawn that I saw the other day?
I only noticed this youngster because I opened the garage door and it stood up and knocked into the table. I went back into the garage, closed the door, and by the time I grabbed the camera and went to the window it was hunkered back down already.
I was hoping to see mom come around to meet up with this guy, but it happened earlier in the afternoon than I expected so missed it. (I don't spend all of my time on fawn watch, believe it or not!)
Love the fawns, and am saddened a bit when they get older/bigger and lose their spots.
.
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour yard offers good safety for the little ones.
A perfect transitional area for a new plant or a sweet baby. How sweet!
ReplyDeleteIt must be a safe-feeling area, as the fawn is back again in the same place today. I'll try and see what happens when mom comes back...
ReplyDeleteThat little fawn is so beautiful and perfect. I would spend every minute of my day on fawn watch.
ReplyDeleteSo So Cool. Your garden is a safe haven and a wild life sanctuary.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, this fawn showed up again two days ago in the middle of the afternoon. I was working in the garage with the doors open as it was beautiful out, and at one point I glanced over and the fawn was standing there beside the table. Didn't mind the power tools and banging, and just hunkered down like before. :)
