Casual Visitor

We all love visitors to our gardens, right? We want them to be comfortable, feel at ease, enjoy their visits.

Well, not always. Sometimes they're just maybe a little too comfortable.

This middle-of-the-day deer for instance. (All photos shot through the window)

A loner, which I suppose is better than a group, or a herd.

I always forget that deer have whiskers! (look closely)

That's the best view of a deer in your garden I think. (It means that it's leaving)

This post is for those who don't have to share their plants with deer, so don't get to see them too often.

  1. Neat. Looks like she's nursing a fawn tucked away someplace.

  2. Salty: very observant! I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it. :)

Rebecca: She was quite cautious moving from the backyard to the front, but yes, still pretty bold!
